Artist's Statement:
Resilient Spirit is about that force inside of you that won’t let you quit:  that inner strength that drives you - that spirit that guides you.

That spirit is a form of love and strength.  I sought to show it by depicting the beauty of the human female accompanied with exceptional strength.  Portraying an outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible force.

In the upper left corner is the remnants of a cross: to symbolize a crucified and tormented soul.
